The atypical restaurant L’Etable is ideally located in the Villars-Gryon-Les Diablerets ski area. Its name was not chosen at random because guests are seated in beautifully transformed stables to enjoy variations of terroir dishes.
Is there anything more original than dining with farm animals by your side? Don't worry, each species has their own space! L’Etable has been divided into two parts, separated by a glass wall. The restaurant offers “home-made” dishes made from fresh regional products. To whet your appetite, here are some of the specialties offered: mushroom cassolette with a serving of rösti, roast ham with honey from the Alps, lasagne with crayfish and asparagus and, naturally, fondue moitié-moitié and croûte de fromage.
In autumn, game dishes are also on the menu. L’Etable welcomes guests in summer and winter, either inside or on its large wooden terrace. The restaurant is accessible from the ski slopes in winter and by car in summer. It also provides a welcome break during summer hikes.
